When we arrived at the resort we really didn't know what to expect. The staff wasn't only nice but added another level of courtesy. The hotel was super clean, the balcony room view was amazing; to your left you could see the ocean and to your right all of downtown. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of channels to watch on the flat screen tv, and the internet was provided free of charge. The marble bathroom added a special decor and in hotel totality it felt like home. The food was a little expensive, however, delicious. And, all orders were prepared fresh and delivered to your room within 30 min. Not to exclude the fact that the hotel has about 3+ restaurants, spas, stores, etc... You even had the option to lay in the cabana by the pool or walk directly over the boardwalk to the beach. They even had a bbq by the pool the last two days we were there. Even though we were about 10 min from South Beach, it didn't matter because taxis were on call 24 hrs in front of the hotel. I'll definitely be going back and wouldn't stay another other place!!!

The hotel was amazing!!! The romms were very spacious and modern with flat sceens that move to mac computers. The pool area was great, don't buy the expensive bottles of Voss they have free water by the pool. The staff was curtious & helpful. Club Liv located in the hotel was the place to be, you have to go there! The beach area was not crowded at all & you can rent jet skis rite there but go to the man by Eden Rock hotel his prices are a little cheaper. The Fresh cafe food delicious get the wings OMG!!!

We loved everything about this resort destination hotel. The hotel staff, especially the front desk, we are very friendly. I read other reviews before choosing this hotel. I was slightly apprehensive since the reviews were either really great, or the people did not like the hotel. This is a resort hotel. With that comes ammenities and services...and the prices....of staying in a property of this calliber. The vibe of this place is ultra shiek, from the time you arrive, to the top-rated restaurants, to the beautiful decor. I HIGHLY recommend that you upgrade the room to one of the suites. Our first night room was a very nice balcony ocean view. Then I asked for a King bed, and they graciosly moved us to a beautiful suite. The other friends we traveled with opted for the suites, too. Their rooms were spectacular. The upcharge is not that much. Do it when you book. Don't wait until you get to the hotel The hotel is located just a few minutes from the South Beach area. We rented a car at the resort for a couple of days, and took cabs at night to the clubs and restaurants. The Fontainebleau is a wonderful upscale property. Their are lots of choices in the Miami Beach area, but none like this. Take your wallet, but also be prepared for a true resort experience.

Stayed there for 4 nights over the July 4th weekend. It was the place to be. The staff has greatly improved since my winter visit and the restaurants are great, if pricey. Tried the Italian one and the food was excellent with wonderful views if you eat outside. Stayed in the suites and they were a perfect size with a small refigerator so you don't have to run around to get a drink. The pools are beautiful, and it was great for people watching, all age groups were smiling and having a good time!

This was the worst experience I have ever ever had. Literally almost killed me. They lost my car two times. Literally lost it when I was going to the airport at 5:00 am and the bellman gave me a ride in a car and we almost rolled the vehicle. He was super.. Rest of the staff has their nose in the air. Getting help or attention from them is very difficult. I not one time was able to get room service. They would never answer the phone. Then room service would show up 1 hour later for a pot of coffee. Were short towels. Asked for more and that took 40 minutes. Then the microwave in my room broke. The bar had empty beers in it. There was candy missing and they tried to charge me. Then they gave me a half price off my next stay to only have it that much worse again and nothing short of a disaster. And had black little hairs in my bathtub. I showed them when they came to my room and they had nothing to say... Nothing.
