Stayed three nights and were prepared for smaller standard rooms. It was not an issue with us although we both managed to bump our heads on the wall mounted TV. Sleeping area measured 9' by 9'. We had one suit case and a back pack. Folks carrying lots of luggage would probably want a bigger room. The room, including bathroom, was clean and "chic" as was the entire hotel. It was well staffed with friendly and helpful people. The hotel itself was unique and inviting. It was located very close to Central Park, a great location for those who want to exercise or hike. The hotel is also easy walking distance to the theater district and a number of great museums. There were plenty of informal restaurants close by to chose from. We'd go again

I can't believe the Hudson would charge as much as they do for what is basically a closet. The room was so very small and the bathroom was tiny. It was very disgusting when the shower curtain kept touching my body...totally grossed out. Nice property but the rooms are sud standard

I had a bit of a problem with my reservation when I checked into the hotel, but they handled it perfectly. Not only did they upgrade me to a better room (even though I was on a deeply discounted rate), but the manager sent chocolates to my room to apologize for the inconvenience. They turned a problem into a delightful stay. They've earned a fan for life!

Our personal experience was great minimal decoration and clean hotel very close to central park and subway yes the rooms are small but if you use it only for sleep who cares people say that is very noisy but depends on the location of the room If some day we back to new york we stay again and again.

What a terrible hotel!!! I have seen many, but never this. Pretend to be something with the trendy entrance and cool bar, but once you are in the room....it is sooo small, I have never seen it before. The shower was so tiny, you couldn't even turn in it (and I am skinny). And we didn't even have the smallest room!! The internet was off for 1,5 days (but they did charge our room for using it ;-)), the heather was on, making our room into a sauna, it couldn't be turned off, and during the nights we woke up because of all the noise, slamming doors etcetera. It is all about being "hip" and about image, not about what customers want. I am never ever coming back!!!
