Overall it was a nice stay, the hotel room was not that great. I had brought to the front desks attention that there was a drawer face off the dresser and left leaning against the wall and the towel rack in the bathroom was coming off the wall. Scott, the man I dealt with said somebody would come and fix it. Nobody ever did. The rooms seriously needed to be updated. The pillows were beyond lumpy.The elevators were on the fritz half the time. The only good thing was the pool and the ride package included. I would recomend staying somewhere else though.

Started with a long sweaty and smelly wait to checkin and went down hill from there. The whole property is in long overdue need for rennovation. For example, the elevators are vandalized by graffitii with nothing done to fix the problem. The carpets in our room were filthy and threadbare. Overall the place just looks shabby. Thankfully I was only staying one night or I would cancelled and moved to another place.

I loved staying at this hotel. Everything was clean, all employees were very friendly, and it was very lively. A tram stop was conveniently located at our hotel, which was a great help and got us everywhere we needed to be. The front desk was very helpful and friendly, letting us check into our room 3 hours early, and dollar blackjack in the hotel casino was awesome.

I stayed for a night prior to attending a conference. For the price I paid ($*), it was perfectly fine. Even though I arrived an hour and a half before official check-in time, I was allowed to get into my room. I was greeted promptly by both the bell staff and the desk clerks. The waitress at the NASCAR Cafe was very nice, polite and made sure my water glass was filled. The food was hot and fresh, although way too much of it for my liking. My room was clean--new carpet, new wallpaper. The bed was comfortable and the coverings were clean. I had a nice table with two chairs. I attended the Rat Pack show, which was a lot of fun, too. My view wasn't great, but big deal--I was there to have R&R before my conference. The bathroom was worn, but everything worked fine. I do agree that the drawer and end tables have seen better days and could be replaces. The elevator was the only place I felt uncomfortable because I felt like it wasn't going to open or go anywhere. Yes, the location is far north but it's close to the Peppermill, which is an awesome local restaurant. I think people are expecting Bellagio rooms for Super 8 prices. I would stay at the Sahara again.
